The Meaning of the "Ace of Pentacles" Tarot Card

(Applies to the upright position)

The Symbolism of the Tarot Card:

A divine, disembodied hand presents a glowing pentacle as a gift. Lady slippers adorn a fertile garden below, with a path leading through an archway in the middle of the garden. The archway leads to a mountainous region beyond, territory that is presumably unknown from the grey color of the country.

The Meaning of the Tarot Card:

This card represents a pure gift with no strings attached, usually of material wealth. The archway and the path identify this as a "gate" card - the person may take the path to anywhere that they wish. The gift of the pentacle will enable them to do so. Complete contentment in one's situation. Literally means that gold will come to the individual very shortly, most likely as a gift. The ecstasy of spirit that is attained when the garden of wealth and the material world is tended properly. The use of wealth as a base to be able to pursue a higher calling in life.
