The Meaning of the "Six of Wands" Tarot Card
(Applies to the upright position)
The Symbolism of the Tarot Card:

A victor returns from his battle and is marching in a triumphal procession with his footmen. The wreath of victory adorns both his head and the wand. His footmen follow behind, rather than alongside him, out of respect. One of his footmen looks very stern, making one think that they are most likely a member of the military or government.

The Meaning of the Tarot Card:

A clear victory in any situation, particularly if there has been some strife involved. Also a potential for very good news - a messenger so clothed is only a messenger of nobility, and marching in peace rather than in anticipation of war. A dream attained, a lifetime goal fulfilled. The victor/messenger seems to be looking out at the crowd, signifying a connection with humanity even at the moment of his highest honor. An excellent card in any spread, but more likely to mean success in a career or finances than in a relationship. Also scholastic or artistic achievement.
