The Meaning of the "Seven of Cups" Tarot Card

(Applies to the upright position)

The Symbolism of the Tarot Card:

One of the most complex cards symbolically in the deck. Seven cups are arranged, almost as if by a divine hand, above the head of the person in the image, who looks male but may not be. The symbols emerging from the cups are a woman, a hooded and glowing figure, a snake, a castle, jewels, a victory wreath, and a small dragon or salamander. The hooded, glowing figure is the most central, and as such should be paid the most attention to. All of the images are images of fantasy and desire, rather than anything that may be attainable on the earthly plane.

Is He My Soulmate? Free Love Readings

The choices in front of the individual may be less concrete than they thought they were. Spending too much time with dreams rather than the world of substance. This card may very well show up for someone addicted to playing video games, or anyone who spends too much time in leisure pursuits at the expense of their own worldly well-being. Impermanence, a relationship that is one-sided. Time to move on.
