What is Biorhythm Compatibility

Are you compatible? The answer isn't as simple as you may think. Biorhythm compatibility is cyclical by nature. What's true today, may not be true next week. Unlike astrological compatibility, where we look at the "big picture" of romantic potential, compatibility in the world of biorhythms is a "near-term" thing. On some days you may be extremely compatible. On other days, you may wonder what you're even doing together at all.
Keep in mind that biorhythms don't measure whether you're a "good couple" or a "bad match". Compatibility biorhythms tell you about the minor day-to-day variations that every couple experiences.
By entering your birth dates into the free biorhythm app above and pressing the button, you'll generate a graphic representation of your biorhythms and see which days you'll be "in sync" and which days you won't be.
Biorhythm compatibility compares the biorhythm charts of two people in a relationship on any given date. By overlapping the biorhythm readings of both partners, you can predict the dates when couples will be most in tune with each other in terms of their physical cycle, intellectual cycle and emotional cycle.

Biorhythms are unique to each date of birth. Two people can be born years apart, and their individual biorhythm cycles will still share specific dates that are perfectly harmonious. The most important thing to remember when it comes to reading couples' biorhythms is: Compatibilities and incompatibilities can be short term things. Don't think of biorhythms as an answer to your entire relationship. Think of them as a way to gain insight into (for example) 'next Friday night'.
It's not uncommon for one particular cycle to be nearly identical in both partners. In some couples, two cycles will be nearly on the same wavelength. And in extremely rare cases, all three biorhythm cycles will sync perfectly.
NOTE: Couples that have the same birthday on the same exact year will have perfectly matched lifelong biorhythms.
For most couples however, that's not going to be the case. There are always going to be those days when one half of a couple is feeling great, and the other one isn't. Or those days when one half of a couple is feeling energetic, and the other one is feeling more cerebral or more emotional. This is normal. The cycles of couples almost never match. And in many cases those mismatched energy levels can be a good thing.
NOTE: Don't worry if your biorhythms aren't 100% in sync, or if they seem to be completely out of sync. Very few couples are 100% on the same wavelength with each other -- or even 50%. Some of the best couples diverge wildly on one aspect or another. The important thing is understanding what's happening -- and when it's going to happen.
Understanding biorhythm divergences
The concepts used in a biorhythm compatibility chart are exactly the same as a standard (single person) biorhythm chart. The compatibility reading is simply to biorhythm charts overlayed. Each chart is identical to a standard biorhythm chart, and is drawn based on each individual's birth date.
Like a standard biorhythm reading, a romantic biorhythm reading has two parts. In the first half of the reading, you'll calculate the same physical, emotional and intellectual biorhythm primary cycles. In the second part of the reading you'll calculate the same passion, wisdom and mastery biorhythm secondary cycles. But the important part of a compatibility reading is noting when the two charts converge or diverge.
A convergent biorhythm occurs when two people's biorhythms trend towards the same value at the same time. A divergent biorhythm occurs when two people's biorhythms trend further apart from their closest matching value. In a compatibility reading, you'll pay attention to both critical days, and critical divergences.
For example - if one person's chart shows an emotional "bad day", while the other chart shows an emotional "good day", this is called a divergence. It is important to note that a divergence may not necessarily imply conflict or fighting - but it may imply 'neediness' or indicate a time of necessary 'mindfulness' for the feelings whichever half of the couple is having a 'down' day.
In other words - divergences in couples' biorythm charts may simply indicate a time when extra care must be taken. Remember, even if your birth date is the same as your partner's, you'll still have up days and down days. Two people having low cycles at the same time can be even rougher than a divergence in many ways.
A biorhythm compatibility "test"
Some people ask us whether or not they can "test" for general compatibility using biorhythms. The answer isn't a simple 'yes' or 'no'. According to biorhythm theory, divergences simply indicate passing phases and imbalances. A divergence is not a grand disagreement or a sign of lifelong incompatibility. They do not necessarily indicate a couple that is not getting along in the larger sense.
Biorhythm compatibility on future dates
While most people use this online biorhythm reading to check their current biorhythm, another way to use this tool is to check ahead for important future dates. Do you have a vacation planned with your significant other? Do you have a big night out coming soon? You can use the "target date" setting to calculate compatibility on future dates, and get an idea of what dates will be best -- or what to expect on a given date.
NOTE: The calculations used in the latest version of this app are based on the birth dates, but not time of day (or time of birth). While some biorhythm calculators do take into account time of day, the differences in cycles based upon hours or minutes in a day are extremely small. Are you interested in precise online biorhythm software that uses hours and minutes? Let us know in the contact form. If enough of our visitors request it, maybe we'll add that feature to the next version of our biorhythm application.
