Mountain Thunder
Heaven Thunder

The first hexagram #27 is built from the upper trigram of Mountain over the lower trigram of Thunder.

The second transformed hexagram, #25, can be broken down into a transitioned upper trigram of Heaven over a preserved, unchanged lower trigram of Thunder.

The starting hexagram #27:
"Nourishment"

The meaning of hexagram #27

The image of an open mouth is portrayed by this hexagram. This is a time to nourish one's body, mind and spirit. It is also a time to delight in nourishing others. Remember, giving and receiving are not inherently different. To give is to receive. Feed yourself with good ideas, good actions, good books, good teachers and good people.

The changing lines between hexagram 27 and hexagram 25

Changing line #4

"Summoning Support"- This line is a reminder to gather your team of supporters with great care and attention. Let your values be your guide. Live by your principals. Look toward the highest peaks for comradeship and connection.

Changing line #5

"Stepping off the Path"- Nurture yourself by taking a break from forward motion. Stand still for a while. Don't start a new project, job or romance just yet. Seek spiritual counsel first.

The future hexagram #25:
"Innocence"

The meaning of hexagram #25

Your innermost nature is innocent, free from blame and always spiritually worthy. Only the outer persona - the role we play - is subject to blame. Being human, one gets subject to misfortunes. This is a time to be authentically self-forgiving for all that you think you have done wrong. Your deepest and most natural self is not to blame. Suffering comes by not knowing what you are underneath all those layers of personality. Be natural and unpretentious. This hexagram is a reminder that underneath there is innocence.
