Lake Heaven
Lake Wind

The first hexagram #43 deconstructs into the upper trigram of Lake above the lower trigram of Heaven.

The second changed hexagram, #28, is built from an untransformed upper trigram of Lake above a new, changed lower trigram of Wind.

The starting hexagram #43:
"Breaking Through"

The meaning of hexagram #43

Pressure has been building for some time. Now, like water cracking and bursting through a dam, old restraints are being broken. The river overflows the dam. The truthful finally cast aside the untrue. Tension gives way to motion. Powerful action has been a long time coming. The influences of those who are beneath you suddenly mean very little. A cloudburst. The months of April and May may have special significance to this hexagram.

The changing lines between hexagram 43 and hexagram 28

Changing line #1

"Stepping With Wise Feet"- This is not a time to plunge blindly and fervently ahead. Be resolute, but gauge your own strength as you attempt to go forward. Current problems may be a result of not looking where you are stepping

The future hexagram #28:
"Test of Faith"

The meaning of hexagram #28

When walking across a thin and bending beam, one must take heart and have faith that it will hold. This hexagram is a reminder to not bend under the weight of burdens. It is also about a great inner test. You may be in some danger for a short time. Only through letting go of the old and embracing the new can success be attained. A gentle strength is required here.
