Heaven Wind
Fire Heaven

The beginning hexagram #44 is composed of the upper trigram of Heaven over the lower trigram of Wind.

The following transformed hexagram, #14, is composed of a transformed upper trigram of Fire over a transformed lower trigram of Heaven.

The starting hexagram #44:
"Coming Together"

The meaning of hexagram #44

This is a good time to examine all the people in your life and ponder why you are connected to them. Look for the higher purpose in all relationships. Consider what this shared journey is teaching you. Don't judge people by their appearances. What lies beneath our outer appearance is what counts most. Form ties with intelligent people who support and share your own intelligence. Connect with like-minded souls. This may not be the best time to solidify a relationship or business partnership. Instead explore why people come together or don't come together in the first place. Coming together must be free of ulterior motives.

The changing lines between hexagram 44 and hexagram 14

Changing line #1

"Avoiding Hungry Bears"- Keep a look out for "hungry bears." These are people who drain your energy and are power hungry. This is a time to assemble your team of comrades slowly and wisely.

Changing line #5

"Using your Influence"- This is a time to tolerate and protect all the unwise people in your sphere of life. Such people will respond well to your influence.

The future hexagram #14:
"Plenty"

The meaning of hexagram #14

This hexagram which is literally read to mean "Fire in the Heavens" symbolizes the life-giving "Sun". The Sun is the source of all wealth and abundance and references a time of prosperity and plenty. With abundance comes the power to do great things and to create positive change. At the same time, the Sun carries a warning not to create waste, or to use this time of plenty for personal gluttony. An abundance of something is coming your way. Use it wisely. Also: Early mornings bring success.
