Hexagram #10: Heaven over Lake
NOTE: This is the romance-related, Love I Ching version of I Ching Hexagram #10: "Lake below Heaven". Click here for the traditional I Ching meaning of hexagram #10.
This simple looking hexagram indicates that you may be about to get involved with something a little risky. There is very little danger if you move in small steps. "Fools rush in". Pay attention to every signal and sign someone gives you and you'll be glad you did. Keep in mind though: Hexagram number 10 isn't telling you to avoid risk. On the contrary, the appearance of hexagram number 10 acknowledges that risk taking can be very exciting. The stage is set for adventure. Enjoy the risk! Flirt with it! Be a tease. But keep your wits about you, and take things slowly. Use your head and you'll be able to transform fear into love and excitement. Incredible things can be sparked by small shifts in attitude. Go ahead and take that step — but make it a small one.

Changes in Line 5
"Clearing Obstacles to Love"
Small obstacles to love may present themselves at this time. The wise person does not ignore them and moves forward fearlessly. Set your intent to clear the road one stone at a time. To ignore obstacles is to fail. Awareness leads to pure love and truth.
