Tips for Better 3-Card Tarot Readings
Three card tarot spreads are extremely versatile. There's almost no limit to the variety of tarot readings you can do with only 3 cards. Needless to say, there are many more possibilities than the ones shown above.

Some readers may feel that tarot spreads with three cards are too short for an insightful tarot reading, but if you keep in mind the following tips you'll be rewarded with a surprising amoung of detail in your 3-card readings:
- Pay attention to the suits of the cards in your 3-card readings. There's a lot of additional information wrapped up in the Minor Arcana tarot suits.
- Pay special attention to court cards (Pages, Knights, Queens and Kings). In many readings, a court card may represent an actual person in the life of the querent.
- Learn the associations for each card. Every tarot card has elemental associations (Earth, Air, Fire and Water), zodiac associations, seasonal associations and more. By learning the additional meanings associated with each tarot card, a simple 3-card reading can carry many layers of additional information.
